Fractured

With the help of my grandmother’s dishes and the patience of friends, “Fractured” was submitted as a digital photo assignment while attending California State University, Northridge.

Deciding to work around a theme of identity and warped perspectives, the goal was to create a series of distorted portraits using the unique bends and surfaces of various glassware as a filter.

The series was never expanded upon but I have since gained an appreciation for the morphing and manipulation of reality. Oh, and cool glassware.
